ABOUT

Josh Burger M.S.

Josh specializes in teaching sport psychology skills that are applicable to all types of athletes and performers.

 

Josh was an all-conference tennis player at Clark University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology. Josh attended California State University, Long Beach where he received his Master's Degree in sport psychology while researching mental toughness in college sports. He is also an experienced tennis coach and has coached at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI and at the Division 1 level at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He is the co-host of the Tennis IQ Podcast, a podcast that focuses on the mental side of tennis and sport performance.

Throughout his career as a competitive tennis player and coach he has realized the importance of the mental side of sports. Through sport psychology and mental skills training he has helped a wide range of individuals and teams of various sports, ages, and levels perform at higher levels and find more fulfillment in their sport.
